Matthew’s loved data since he encountered his first database as an intern way back in 1998. Since then, data has taken him to college, to earning an MBA, to roles in engineering, consulting, training, pre-sales, sales, product management, and leadership. As a Tableau user for the last 11+ years, Matthew has helped companies around the world to see and understand their data with Tableau.
Joining Tableau in 2020, Matthew has worked on projects including External Actions, Cloud Multi-Site, Data Cloud, and others while leading product teams.
Matthew resides in the Chicago area with his wife, five kids, and a cat.
Is there a better domain than data for the curious mind? Paul still has not been able to find a different domain that would be better suited since falling in it back in 2006. Before officially entering the world of data, he spent 10 years as a techie in various startups. He then switched for a career in product management in Analytics for the past 17 years and has built analytic solutions addressing the data needs of companies of all sizes.
Since joining Tableau 2 years ago, he has been focusing his efforts on building the Semantic Layer strategy and on defining a new experience for the data analyst. Paul and his family had decided to move from Paris to Vancouver for 3 years and have been happily living there since 2014.
Elizabeth, EMax as her colleagues fondly call her, is an accomplished marketing professional with over 17 years of experience spanning various industries, including nonprofit, automotive, and high tech. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing for Tableau, a Salesforce company, Elizabeth leads the global GMT strategy, driving end-to-end marketing initiatives.Â
Throughout her tenure at Salesforce, she has held diverse positions, showcasing her versatility and expertise. From Strategic Events to Corporate Messaging, Elizabeth has consistently made a significant impact. She has successfully led marketing and operations for strategic partnerships, launching critical relationships with industry giants such as AWS, Google, Alibaba, Apple, and many others.Â
In her personal life, Elizabeth is a loving supermom to three wonderful girls. Outside of work and family, Elizabeth has a deep passion for staying active and embracing the outdoors. She finds solace in activities such as swimming, cycling, and surfing, immersing herself in the invigorating energy of the ocean. Additionally, she nurtures her creative side through her love for art, photography, and all forms of expression. Whether capturing captivating moments behind the lens or exploring her artistic abilities, Elizabeth finds inspiration in the beauty of the world around her, especially when it involves the beach and the great outdoors.
After having led successfully a team of data experts of different sizes and locations for the past fifteen years, Annabelle is currently leading the Tableau Center of Enablement at Vontobel, where she uses her skills and passion to drive Visual Best Practices adoption in her company. She considers data visualization and analytics her ikigai (purpose) and enjoys fostering a community of practitioners in every organization she works.Â
Annabelle is specialized in Visuals Analytics and mastering Tableau (both Desktop and Server). She holds a Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification and was recognized as a Tableau Visionary and Social Media Ambassador. In her free time, she co-leads Data + Women Zurich and the Tableau Analytics User Group.
Tore is a Tableau Jedi at Inmeta Consulting, with experience since version 7.0. He's based in Bergen, Norway, and is one of Europe's most merited Tableau Trainers, with over 3.300 people trained in 15 countries. He's also the leader of TUG Norway and a Tableau Ambassador. He was the co-host of Vizit London last year. He's been working with Tableau since filled maps and area charts were introduced. He has over 60 Tableau t-shirts/hoodies and a growing swag compilation! In his spare time, he supports Liverpool FC and is a handball and soccer coach for kids.
 For Heidi, discovering Tableau was love at first sight. Working as a Senior Consultant at Woodmark Consulting AG, she has brought her passion for visual analytics to numerous client projects and to trainings for hundreds of Tableau users. Heidi is not only a frequent conference and TUG speaker and a Tableau Ambassador in her third term, she also co-leads Rheinland TUG and Data+Women Germany, pursuing her mission to promote and improve diversity in the data community. The only thing Heidi loves more than Tableau are alpacas.
Sarah has been working in analytics for over 12 years and is passionate about internal community building and user enablement. Sarah is a 4 x Tableau Visionary, a 5 x Tableau Public Ambassador and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and welcoming newcomers to the Tableau Community. In her spare time, Sarah co-leads the London Tableau User Group, hosts the popular #IronQuest community project and shares content on her blog; sarahlovesdata.co.uk.
